Hello to anyone interested in participating this year in the Madison County 4H Shooting Sports program.  If you are not interested and want to be taken off of this email list, please respond and let me know, asap.  Thanks, Don

Meeting will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, Jan 31st at the WIN Job Center .  This meeting is for parents and youth.  We will need to discuss the 4H shooting sports requirements, and when we will do safety training in February.  Also need to discuss shooting practices, etc.

Disciplines are Air Rifle, Air Pistol, 22 Rifle, 22 Pistol (only for seniors), Muzzleloading, Shotgun, Archery and a new discipline this year - Hunting.

Parents are required to participate in 4H Shooting Sports, this is not something that the youth can be dropped off for and picked up later.  At shooting events, parents will be needed to assist the youth on the line, ie: handling ammo, etc.  We will need 1 adult for every 3 youth.

Any questions, please feel free to call Joanne on her cell 601-672-9395.  New families are welcome to participate.  There is no cost for joining 4H.  There will be costs associated with shooting events, purchasing safety glasses, ear protection, ammo and any equipment you want to own for your family.

FYI, thanks, Don and Joanne Raymond, Coordinators for Madison County 4H Shooting Sports
