Summertime is Fun!!!

April 10, 2008

Dear Parents,

The School Year is quickly coming to a close and that means that one of our children’s favorite times of the year is almost here, Summertime!! I am pleased to inform you that we have hired Mrs. Jill Smith to manage our Summer Day Care and After School Care programs beginning May 19th.  Mrs. Smith is very experienced and well qualified in this area of care for our children. We are very excited to welcome Mrs. Smith and are convinced she will do an outstanding job for TCA.

Summer Day Care will be provided weekdays, Monday through Friday, from May 19 through August 6, from 7:00am to 6:00pm. We will be closed on two national holidays, Memorial Day, May 26, and Independence Day, July 4. We will provide services for a total of 56 days during an 12 week period. Costs are $65.00 per child per week, with a $50 activity fee per family. Payment must be made in advance.

Day Care will be offered to TCA students only and only to students in grades K-4 through Grade 6. Drop-ins will be $25 per day. We will have four staff members for the summer with at least two staff members present at all times. In addition our school Administration and some of our Coaches will be on campus each day. The day care will be located in the K-4 or K-5 room adjacent to the playground.

A morning and afternoon snack will be provided. We will not provide lunch; therefore, we ask that you bring your child a “brown bag” lunch each day.

We look forward to taking care of your children this summer and will do everything we can to make it a fun experience for them.  Please get your child enrolled for Summer Day Care as soon as possible by contacting Mrs. Creel at 601-879-8517.

                                                            Sincerely,

                                                            Mark W. Johnson
