Dear Tri-County Patrons and Alumni,
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for making my first year at Tri-County an exciting one. The single thing that I am most proud of is a significant increase in our test scores. This tells me that our teachers did a great job teaching and our students were receptive to methods used to prepare them for the next level. We have made several facility improvements in the past year, the biggest being our new 6000sq.ft. field house. It is currently in the final stages and will be something that all of us will be extremely proud of. Many people have played a role in getting this facility completed and I would like to thank each of you that have given your time, effort, and financial support to see that it is completed for the coming school year.
We will start to school on August 6 and will dismiss @ 12:00. Our first full day will be August 10. We will have teachers on duty each morning at 7:15 at the west entrance of the school (end toward Hwy. 49).
We will have Meet the Rebels Night and Open House the same night this year on August 10 beginning at 6:00. We will meet in the football stadium and then will depart and go tour the new field house and the school. We will have New Family Orientation about 7:00 in the cafeteria for any family that will be attending Tri-County for the first time, to answer any questions that you may have.
Any parent that will have students in our After School Care needs to contact Jill Smith and sign-up your child as soon as you can. After School is for TCA students grades K3 6th grade. Hours are from the time that school dismisses each day until 6:00pm. Since we will have only three weeks in August of After School Care, parents will only be charged $75. A fee of $100 will be charged for all other months.
The outlook for the coming year is very bright and our expectations are very high. Each of you is invited to take part in helping to make Tri-County Academy the best it can be to assure your children of a bright and successful future.
Kind Regards,
Mark W. Johnson
