ACT INFORMATION
The ACT measures a student’s readiness and capability to succeed in college. All high school students are encouraged to participate in preparing for and taking the ACT.
Juniors need to participate by the Spring of their junior year.
Seniors need to participate as much as possible during their senior year.
As part of the ACT preparation process, 8th, 9th, and 10th graders will participate in EXPLORE and PLAN. These tests are a part of a continuous preparation process for improving ACT scores.
An ACT Preparation Workshop will be held Saturday, November 14th on the TCA Campus. LSJ Instructional Services will conduct the workshop. Their course instructors have over 20 years experience in ACT preparation. Grades 7-12 are invited to attend. There will be a fee associated with attending this workshop. If 20 or more students attend, the fee per student will be $40.00. If you are interested in your child attending this workshop, please fill out a form and return it to the school with a $25.00 deposit.Balance will be due the day of the workshop.
