Also, TCA students will have the opportunity to attend the ACT Preparation Workshops at Holmes Community College on the following dates:
Saturday, October 15
Saturday, February 4
Saturday, March 31
Students in grades 10, 11, and 12 are eligible to attend. TCA will pay the workshop fee for one workshop; however, students can attend all three.
Transportation from TCA to Holmes will be provided.
Lunch will be provided by HCC.
9:00 am- 3:00 pm

ACT INFORMATION
The ACT measures a student’s readiness and capability to succeed in college. All high school students are encouraged to participate in preparing for and taking the ACT.
Juniors need to participate by the Spring of their junior year.
Seniors need to participate as much as possible during their senior year.
As part of the ACT preparation process, 8th, 9th, and 10th graders will participate in EXPLORE and PLAN. These tests are a part of a continuous preparation process for improving ACT scores.
ACT Preparation Workshops will be held beginning Sept 1st on the TCA Campus. LSJ Instructional Services will conduct the workshops. Their course instructors have over 20 years experience in ACT preparation. Grades 10-12 will attend a workshop in the fall and in the spring.
